Membership Renewal Period Highlights the Benefits of the KHC

Filed Under: KHC News October 25, 2022, Jenny Goins

I tell people all the time that I’m not a salesperson. I’ve never felt I’ve had the right skillset to be successful in a sales role. In fact, I joke that I couldn’t even sell Girl Scout cookies. But throughout my life I’ve found a few programs, projects, and organizations that I felt so passionately about that I would not only engage with but encourage others to engage with as well.

The Kentuckiana Health Collaborative is one of those groups. Even before becoming the president and CEO, I found it easy to share my passion for the KHC’s work and would encourage others to join because of the many benefits. And through the years with the KHC I’ve met many seasoned and new members who also believe in the KHC’s value for them and their organizations. I think a large part of KHC’s value comes from the opportunity to learn from and engage with employers and other healthcare stakeholders who are all interested in improving our healthcare system. The collaborative nature of the KHC is a large draw for many members. Of course, there are also a variety of educational opportunities and support tools. When surveyed earlier this year, 52% of KHC members indicated they were very satisfied with the organization, and another 48% of members said they were satisfied. In the last 10 months we’ve had 10 organizations join the KHC – employers, non-profits, payers, providers, and pharmaceutical companies – highlighting the collaborative nature of the organization.

As we all wrap up 2022 and plan for 2023 it’s time for our current members to renew their memberships and continue to receive the many benefits they receive as a KHC member. In early November, current member organizations will receive a membership renewal invoice that is due by January 31, 2023. One of the many benefits of KHC membership is just one price per organization and organizations can have multiple people from the organization participate. Membership information can be found here.

Take this membership renewal reminder as one of my rare sales pitches. I know you’ll continue to find value when you renew your membership with the KHC.
