Earlier this year, Bonnie Johnson joined the KHC team as an independent contractor to standardize processes for its finances and membership. She is excited to bring insight into the KHC’s finances, simplify reporting, and help stakeholders see the story of mission embedded in the numbers.

A native of Louisville, Bonnie earned her bachelor’s degree in Accounting at the University of Louisville. She specializes in providing financial services for small businesses, particularly in the nonprofit sector.

“I am continually amazed about the depth of mission in our local nonprofits and all the populations they serve. Volunteering and being an advocate for positivity in our community brings me the purpose I have been seeking in my career. I am blessed to collaborate with so many people who show empathy toward others each and every day,” she said.

Regarding healthcare, Bonnie is interested in the ability for every person to have access to affordable healthcare without compromising their personal finances.
