The Kentuckiana Health Collaborative is pleased to announce the release of the seventh annual Consolidated Measurement Reports. Over 1,100 clinicians in Greater Louisville have been sent feedback reports on the quality of care their patients received in the following clinical areas of focus: 1) diabetes, 2) breast cancer screening, 3) acute low back pain, 4) upper respiratory infection, 5) pharyngitis, 6) bronchitis, 7) asthma, and 8) ischemic vascular disease.
This report allows Physicians, Nurse Practitioners, and Physician Assistants to benchmark their own data for private comparison to the community average and benchmark. This year only aggregate community data will be made available to the public. To implement this initiative, Anthem Blue Cross Blue Shield, Humana Health Plan of Kentucky, Passport Health Plan, and Kentucky Medicaid provided claims data derived from their 2010 HEDIS submissions; University of Kentucky consolidated these data.
The following clinical areas are ONLY being aggregated at the community level and not at the individual provider level: 1) cervical cancer screening, 2) chlamydia screening, 3) colon cancer screening, 4) acute bronchitis, 5) depression, and 6) mental illness hospitalization follow-up.
