The Leapfrog Group is an industry leader in collecting, analyzing, and publishing health care data on safety, quality, and resource use. Their mission is “to trigger giant leaps forward in the safety, quality and affordability of U.S. health care by using transparency to support informed health care decisions and promote high-value care.” As a Regional Leader of The Leapfrog Group, the Kentuckiana Health Collaborative assists is educating and empowering healthcare stakeholders to utilize The Leapfrog Group’s data to advance healthcare safety and quality, as well as partner with hospitals throughout Kentucky to encourage their participation in The Leapfrog’s Groups programs. These programs include the Hospital Survey, Hospital Safety Grades, and Ambulatory Surgical Center (ASC) Survey.
