The Kentuckiana Health Collaborative is now accepting nominations for our 2027 Board of Directors.
We are seeking leaders who share in our vision of a future where all people in Kentucky and Southern Indiana have access to high quality, affordable, and equitable healthcare. Whether your experience comes from healthcare, business, public service, or the nonprofit sector, your perspective can help shape the future of KHC.
KHC brings together those who provide care, receive care, pay for care, and shape the healthcare system to drive meaningful and lasting change. Our Board of Directors helps guide that work by providing strategic leadership and governance for the organization.
What Board Members Do
As a Board member, you will:
- Help guide KHC’s strategic direction and priorities.
- Contribute your expertise to Board discussions and organizational decision-making.
- Support initiatives that improve healthcare quality, affordability, and equity.
- Strengthen partnerships that advance KHC’s mission.
- Serve as an ambassador for collaborative healthcare improvement across the region.
Who We’re Looking For
We’re looking for leaders who are passionate about improving healthcare and bringing people together to solve complex challenges.
Experience in the following areas is especially valuable:
- Finance
- Fundraising
- Marketing and communications
- Nonprofit leadership
- Public relations
We also welcome candidates with diverse professional backgrounds, lived experiences, and strong connections that strengthen the Board and reflect the communities KHC serves.
The Commitment
Board terms are three years and Directors are eligible for up to two consecutive terms. The newly elected Directors will begin their Board term on January 1, 2027. Directors must be members of KHC or commit to becoming members upon joining the Board.
How to Submit a Nomination
- Complete the Nomination Form
- Prepare a Letter of Interest (max 500 words) including:
- Why you are interested in serving on the KHC BoD
- What you hope to contribute to the KHC BoD
- Submit the Nomination Form and Letter of Interest to nmiddaugh@khcollaborative.org
- Deadline: October 16, 2026
The Nominating Committee, composed of current Executive Committee members, will review all nominations. A slate of Directors will be presented, ballots will be emailed to voting members, and candidates will be elected by a simple majority. Final results will be announced by November 30.
