Job Title: Franchise Manager
New Member of the KHC!
Jamal is responsible for networking with like-minded partners to improve the health of our community, impact as many lives as possible, and lead a team of health coaches to provide unprecedented services to our members.
What are you currently working on that you are most excited about? How do you think it will drive improvements to health and healthcare in the community?
I’m building a business that has the capability to save thousands of lives in our community. I know it’ll create greater options for affordable care in weight management, as well as add new careers for health professionals in Louisville.
What do you see as the biggest threat to our community’s health? How do you feel it needs to be addressed?
To me, the biggest threat is our environment. Never has it been so easy to over-consume calories, sodium, added sugars, alcohol, etc. To address this, we need to: consider our policies and law, take responsibility, band together and create change.
Why do you and your organization belong to the KHC? What do you find most valuable as a member?
Collaboration is an objective for both KHC and Profile by Sanford. We know by working together, we can create greater improvements to the health status of Greater Louisville and Kentucky. As a member, I value networking with like-minded stakeholders, and having engaging conversations and partnerships on topics in health.
