In September 2025, the Kentuckiana Health Collaborative and the National Alliance of Healthcare Purchaser Coalitions partnered on an initiative to help employers in Kentucky and Southern Indiana navigate high-cost claims. Insights from this workshop, along with others held across the country and the latest research, underscore the urgent need for employers to adopt data-driven, collaborative, prevention-focused strategies to address cardiometabolic and autoimmune diseases. This employer guide offers recommendations for taking charge of related high-cost claims to improve care and reduce costs.
