With great appreciation and sadness, the KHC says farewell to several long-standing members of the Board of Directors:
- Jason Scherzinger, Client Executive, Anthem National Accounts | Co-Chair and Board Member
- Larry Gray, President, Baptist Health | Treasurer and Board Member
- Dr. Sarah Moyer, Director, Louisville Metro Department of Public Health and Wellness | Board Member
- Dr. Greg Potts, Medical Director, Papa Johns | Board Member

Between them, these community leaders have almost three decades of service to the KHC. They’ve been instrumental is supporting, leading, and implementing programs related to achieving quality, affordable, and equitable healthcare in our community. Some of these programs include the Kentucky Core Measure Set and the new Purchaser Priorities; Coffee and COVID discussions to help members navigate the pandemic; participation in the RAND National Hospital Price Transparency studies; and the KHC Annual Conferences.
These Board Members also played a key role in guiding the KHC as it achieved organizational independence from the UAW/Ford Community Health Initiative. They worked diligently on updated governance for the non-profit’s continued success.
Each of these former Board Members has represented their organizations and given of themselves in more ways than we can mention here. We wish them all the best in the future endeavors and know we can always rely on them to support and lead change in our healthcare system to better our Kentuckiana communities.
