The Kentuckiana Health Collaborative is pleased to announce the release of the 2022 Community Measurement Reports. Reports are available for the Kentuckiana region, Kentucky, and each of Kentucky’s Area Development Districts. The reports include 66 measures compared to national and regional averages and benchmarks for both commercial and Medicaid data.
Since 2005, the KHC has led the way in healthcare quality measurement and transparency through Consolidated Measurement Reports, which allows for comparison to local and state averages and benchmark scores on the quality of care patients receive on a variety of ambulatory care indicators. The data also allows us to see where we have improved – or not – as a community in these key indicators of quality healthcare. Anthem Blue Cross Blue Shield, Aetna Better Health of Kentucky, Humana, WellCare Health Plan of Kentucky, and Passport Health Plan by Molina Healthcare provided administrative data for these reports.
Highlights from the reports include 16 Kentucky Commercial Measures and 12 Kentucky Medicaid measures scoring better than the national average. 24 Kentucky Commercial Measures and 28 Kentucky Medicaid Measures scored worse than the national average.
In Kentuckiana, 25 Commercial Measures and 18 Medicaid Measures scored better than the national average. 16 Commercial Measures and 22 Medicaid measures scored worse than the national average.
