KHC is launching a Speakers Bureau and inviting member organizations to propose and present educational sessions at our quarterly All-Member Meetings starting in 2027. If you are a KHC member with expertise, experience, or a perspective that would advance the conversation on affordability, quality, and equity across our healthcare ecosystem, we want to hear from you. We’re accepting proposals now through August 28, and selected speakers will be announced later this year.

Why We’re Forming the Bureau

KHC has three strategic priorities:

  • Empower Healthcare Purchasers to Lead Change
  • Promote Systemic Healthcare Improvement
  • Foster Alignment Through Collaborative Action

The Speakers Bureau is one of the ways we put these priorities into practice. Our membership represents the full spectrum of the healthcare ecosystem, where every one has something to share and every one has something to learn. The Speakers Bureau creates a formal pathway for that exchange.

What to Expect

The process is straightforward. KHC members submit proposals, which are then reviewed and scored by an Education Committee composed of fellow KHC members. Based on these evaluations, the committee makes its final recommendations.

A few things worth knowing upfront:

Sessions must be educational. We’re looking for content that sparks conversation and honest, informed perspectives on the issues that matter most to our community.

Diverse perspectives are welcome and expected. KHC serves as a neutral convener. Speakers should come prepared to present and to engage with an audience that may see things differently.

Key Dates

  • Proposals due: August 28, 2026
  • Decision notifications: September 28, 2026
  • Speaker announcements: November 4, 2026 at the KHC All-Member Meetings
  • All-Member Meetings: Quarterly, beginning February 2027

How to Apply

KHC member organizations can submit their proposals through the Call for Proposals. A member login is required to access the application form. The application takes about 20 minutes to complete.
