Webinar: Exploring the Evolving Landscape of Biomarker Testing 

Overview

Biomarkers are measurable indicators found in the body that can provide information on a person’s health. They can be used to detect disease, predict disease progression, and assess how a person will respond to treatments. As an emerging topic, biomarker testing gained attention when KY HB 180 was signed into law in 2023, requiring health benefit plans to cover biomarker testing. 

This webinar will offer decision-makers in the Kentucky healthcare ecosystem valuable insights on biomarkers and how to integrate them to improve population health. The session will introduce biomarkers, explore their integration into healthcare, and discuss their inclusion in health plan benefit design.
